SaladStop! – Food Website

Creating a health-focused digital experience built around transparency, personalisation and conscious eating

SaladStop! Philippines is part of an Asian health-food brand founded in 2009 to introduce a more conscious approach to fast food. The platform brings together freshly prepared salads, wraps, warm protein bowls, grab-and-go products, nutrition tools, delivery services and store discovery under the brand’s central philosophy: “Eat Wide Awake.”

Our objective was to transform that philosophy into a clear, energetic and conversion-oriented digital experience. The website needed to make healthy food desirable, explain the nutritional and environmental value of each meal, and help customers move quickly from discovery to ordering.

The Challenge

Healthy-food websites often struggle to balance education and convenience. Customers want detailed information about ingredients, calories, allergens and dietary suitability, but they also expect a fast ordering experience that feels as simple as any mainstream food-delivery platform.

SaladStop! also offers several distinct product families, including signature salads and wraps, warm protein bowls, Daily Bowls exclusives and grab-and-go options. The challenge was therefore to organise a varied menu while keeping the interface immediate, visual and easy to navigate.

A second challenge was to communicate the brand’s sustainability commitments without making the website feel overly institutional. Local sourcing, reusable-container rewards, plant-based choices and carbon-impact information needed to become useful parts of the customer journey rather than isolated corporate statements.

Strategic Approach

Our strategy centred on four priorities: appetite appeal, nutritional transparency, digital convenience and purpose-led storytelling.

The homepage was structured to introduce the brand promise first, followed by recognisable signature meals, direct ordering pathways, the nutritional calculator, subscription options and location discovery. This hierarchy gives users several clear entry points depending on whether they want inspiration, dietary information, delivery or a nearby restaurant.

The platform’s tone combines energetic food marketing with a more considered message about where ingredients come from and how food choices affect both personal health and the environment. This creates a brand experience that feels positive and accessible rather than restrictive.

Menu Discovery & Product Presentation

The menu architecture separates the offer into clearly defined categories: Signature Salads and Wraps, Warm Protein Bowls, Daily Bowls Exclusives and Grab & Go. This makes it easier for customers to browse according to appetite, dietary preference and eating occasion.

Signature products are presented with ingredients, calorie information and carbon-footprint data. Meals such as Hail Caesar, Tuna San and Oh Crab Lah! demonstrate how the website combines appealing product naming with practical nutritional details and direct “Order Now” calls to action.

This approach turns every product card into both a sales tool and an information tool. Customers can understand what a meal contains before purchasing, while the visual presentation keeps the browsing experience appetising and commercially effective.

Nutritional Calculator

One of the platform’s strongest functional features is its nutritional calculator. Users can filter according to allergens and dietary preferences, customise a bowl and calculate its nutritional value before ordering.

This feature supports SaladStop!’s wider commitment to transparency. Rather than expecting every customer to follow the same diet, the website recognises that nutritional requirements vary and gives users the information needed to make more informed choices.

From a UX perspective, the calculator also strengthens trust. It positions the brand as a practical health partner rather than simply a restaurant selling products labelled as healthy.

Sustainability & Brand Purpose

The sustainability section extends the brand promise beyond nutrition. SaladStop! Philippines states that it has worked since 2014 to move away from “pre-made culture” and promote a more conscious way of eating through local sourcing, reusable packaging initiatives and plant-forward menu choices.

The site explains how customers can participate directly: supporting Filipino farmers through locally sourced ingredients, receiving discounts for bringing reusable containers and selecting plant-based meals from a predominantly plant-based salad bar.

This content is important because it makes sustainability actionable. The user is not only told that the company has environmental values; they are shown how an individual order can contribute to those values.

Local Discovery & Delivery

The location section provides practical information for SaladStop! branches across Metro Manila and surrounding areas, including addresses, operating hours and contact numbers. Locations listed on the platform include Alabang Town Center, Araneta, Ayala North Exchange, Ayala Triangle, Burgos Circle, Central Square, Glorietta, Greenhills, Megamall, Mall of Asia, Rockwell, Salcedo and Uptown BGC, among others.

This local structure supports both customer convenience and search visibility. Visitors can quickly identify the nearest branch, check when it is open and move directly toward delivery or takeaway.

The homepage also promotes weekly doorstep delivery and subscription-based ordering through Daily Bowls, extending the customer relationship beyond individual restaurant visits.

Brand Storytelling

The “Our Story” section positions SaladStop! as a family-founded business built around a shared ambition to change how people think about fast food. The brand now operates across several Asian markets, including Singapore, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Thailand and Vietnam.

The recurring “Eat Wide Awake” message provides a strong editorial thread across the site. It connects product quality, personal health, sourcing, packaging and environmental awareness into one coherent brand philosophy.

This gives SaladStop! a distinctive identity in a crowded healthy-food market: it is not simply selling salads, but presenting a more informed and transparent way to eat.

UX & Conversion Focus

The website is designed around visible, action-oriented journeys:

  • Browse meals by category.
  • Review nutritional and carbon information.
  • Customise a meal through the calculator.
  • Order for delivery or takeaway.
  • Subscribe to weekly meals.
  • Find the closest restaurant.
  • Explore the company’s sustainability commitments.

These actions are distributed throughout the site rather than confined to a single conversion point. As a result, users can enter through food inspiration, nutrition, convenience or sustainability and still progress naturally toward an order.

Result

The result is a fresh, functional and purpose-driven food platform that translates SaladStop!’s healthy-eating philosophy into a practical digital experience.

The website combines strong product imagery, structured menu discovery, transparent nutritional information, delivery pathways, store locations and sustainability storytelling. It positions SaladStop! Philippines as both a convenient food brand and a credible advocate for more conscious eating.
